In honor of Serge Haroche

In honor of Serge Haroche, Nobel prize in Physics 2012, President Hollande visited the department of Physics at Ecole normale supérieure. He was welcomed by the Minister of Research and Higher Education Geneviève Fioraso, the director of ENS Marc Mézard and the director of the Department Werner Krauth. Within the Laboratory Kastler Brossel, the President discovered where Serge Haroche and its colleagues conducted their research for over thirty years. The President took this opportunity to discuss with researchers, faculty members, staff and students. To conclude his visit, Président Hollande delivered at the Collège de France (a public higher education institution directed by Serge Haroche) a tribute speech to the Nobel Prize in physics 2012 and widely to French research and higher education.
