Computational Solid State Physics

First principles quantum mechanics based calculations
combined with statistical mechanics can predict complex crystal structure and alloy phase stability.

Research experience in this area is offered in the Physics Department at Carnegie Mellon University.

Interested students should contact Prof. M. Widom :widom@andrew.cmu.edu
